Harvey C. Jones has been the Managing Partner of Square Wave Ventures, a private family office, since 2004. Mr. Jones has been an entrepreneur, high technology executive, and active venture investor for over 30 years. In 1981, he co-founded Daisy Systems Corp., a computer-aided engineering company, ultimately serving as its President and Chief Executive Officer until 1987. Between 1987 and 1998, he led Synopsys, Inc., a major electronic design automation company, serving as its Chief Executive Officer for seven years and then as Executive Chairman. In 1997, Mr. Jones co-founded Tensilica Inc., a privately held technology IP company that developed and licensed high performance embedded processing cores. He served as Chairman of the Tensilica board of directors from inception through its 2013 acquisition by Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Mr. Jones holds a BS degree in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Georgetown University and an MS degree in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Jones brings to the board an executive management background, an understanding of semiconductor technologies and complex system design. He provides valuable insight into innovation strategies, research and development efforts, as well as management and development of our technical employees. His significant financial community experience gives the Board an understanding of the methods by which companies can increase value for their stockholders.
