Mr. Tolia has served as the Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairperson of our Board of Directors since May 2024. Mr. Tolia previously served as our Executive Chair from March 2024 to May 2024. Mr. Tolia is a co-founder of Nextdoor, Inc. and previously served as its Chief Executive Officer from September 2010 to December 2018. Before his tenure at Nextdoor, Inc., Mr. Tolia was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Benchmark Capital, a venture capital firm, Chief Operating Officer of Shopping.com, an online shopping website, and Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Epinions.com Corporation, a consumer review website company. Mr. Tolia currently serves as Non-Executive Chair, and previously served as Executive Chair, of Hedosophia, a leading technology investor, and is a co-founding director of the William S. Spears Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership in SMU s Cox School of Business. He earned a B.A. in English from Stanford University. We believe that Mr. Tolia is qualified to serve on the Board of Directors based on the historical knowledge and experience he brings as Nextdoor, Inc. s co-founder and former Chief Executive Officer, along with his extensive experience creating and leading pioneering consumer internet companies.
