Mr. Hill is a seasoned global energy executive with more than four decades of leadership experience across exploration and production, large-scale operational management, technology-enabled performance improvement, and corporate strategy. He most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Hess Corporation, a role he held from 2014 until the company s merger with Chevron in 2025. His career includes extensive international and domestic experience across upstream operations, deep involvement in safety leadership, and a long track record of delivering operational excellence in complex environments. At Hess, Mr. Hill led worldwide exploration and production activities and oversaw major operational programs across North America and global offshore developments. He previously served as Executive Vice President & President, Worldwide E&P beginning in 2009. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hill spent 25 years with Shell plc, where he held senior leadership roles across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the United States, including Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific E&P and Vice President, Production for E&P Europe.
