Jay Stasz serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Planet Fitness, Inc. (Class A), a position he has held since May 2020. With over two decades of experience in finance and accounting within the fitness and leisure industry, Stasz brings a proven track record of driving financial strategy and operational excellence. He joined Planet Fitness in 2017 as Vice President of Finance, quickly advancing through roles that honed his expertise in financial planning, reporting, and investor relations for a rapidly growing franchise model. Prior to Planet Fitness, Stasz spent more than 15 years at Town Sports International Holdings, Inc., where he rose to Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. In these roles, he managed treasury operations, capital markets activities, and financial reporting during periods of expansion and restructuring. His early career began in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche, where he worked as a Senior Accountant, building a strong foundation in audit and compliance. Stasz holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rider University. As CFO, Stasz oversees all financial aspects of Planet Fitness, including budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and capital allocation to support the company's aggressive growth, now boasting over 2,500 locations worldwide. His leadership has been instrumental in navigating economic challenges, optimizing franchise economics, and enhancing shareholder value through disciplined financial discipline and strategic initiatives.
