A seasoned medical device executive with over 30 years of experience, Dr. Zadno holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and has a proven track record of commercializing innovative technologies that address unmet clinical needs. His leadership at PROCEPT focused on advancing the AquaBeam® Robotic System, a groundbreaking platform for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), revolutionizing minimally invasive procedures with precision aquablation therapy. Prior to PROCEPT, Dr. Zadno was CEO of BioEnterics Corporation, where he oversaw the development and global launch of the BIB® Intragastric Balloon System, a device that treated more than one million patients for obesity management and generated hundreds of millions in revenue. Earlier roles included executive positions at Origin Medsystems, Inc., and pioneering work in biomedical engineering at Stanford, where he contributed to intravascular ultrasound and stent technologies, resulting in numerous patents and publications.
