Dr. Zeldis has served as a member of our Board since September 2012. Dr. Zeldis served as the Executive Vice President and Head of Research and Development of NexImmune, Inc., a Nasdaq-listed clinical-stage biotechnology company from January 2021 to March 2023. From August 2016 through March 2020, Dr. Zeldis served as the Chief Medical Officer of Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., a public clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. From August 2017 through September 2018, Dr. Zeldis served as the Chief Medical Officer of Celularity, Inc., a biotechnology company. Prior to joining Sorrento, Dr. Zeldis served as Chief Executive Officer of Celgene Global Health and the Chief Medical Officer of Celgene Corporation, a public biopharmaceutical company, where he had been employed since 1997. He previously served as Celgene's Senior Vice President of Clinical Research and Medical Affairs. Previously, Dr. Zeldis served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Associate Professor of Medicine at University of California, Davis, Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Cornell Medical School, and Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Rutgers University.
