Executive Compensation
Thomas Curtis serves as President of Burger King US & Canada at Restaurant Brands International Inc. (RBI), a role he assumed in April 2023. With over 25 years of experience in marketing and brand leadership, Curtis began his career at Ford Motor Company in 1997, where he held progressive roles in advertising, digital marketing, and brand strategy, culminating in Director of US Marketing for the Lincoln brand. In 2015, he joined Domino's Pizza as Vice President of Marketing and Innovation, later advancing to Senior Vice President of Innovation & Growth and Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, where he spearheaded digital transformation initiatives that boosted online sales and customer loyalty. Curtis joined RBI in 2018 as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Burger King North America, driving key innovations such as the launch of the Impossible Whopper, expansion of digital ordering platforms, and the Royal Perks loyalty program, which significantly increased same-store sales and guest traffic. His leadership has been instrumental in repositioning Burger King as a modern, flame-grilled fast-food leader, with notable achievements including record digital sales penetration and successful menu disruptions amid competitive market pressures. In his current role as President, Curtis oversees all aspects of Burger King operations across the US and Canada, including franchise support, menu development, marketing, supply chain, and growth strategies. Under his guidance, the brand has achieved consecutive years of positive US same-store sales growth and expanded its market share, positioning Burger King for sustained success in North America through a focus on operational excellence, guest experience, and bold innovation.
