Stephen E. Lewis served as the Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Troutman Pepper from 2020 through 2023, having previously served as the Managing Partner and CEO of predecessor firm Troutman Sanders from 2016 to 2020. Mr. Lewis retired from Troutman Pepper at the end of 2024. Mr. Lewis has expertise in the professional and business services, real estate, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, and retail industries and has international business experience. Mr. Lewis was recently appointed to the board of directors at Piedmont Office Realty Trust, Inc., a real estate investment trust. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and Nominating Committee of the UNC School of Law Alumni Association.
