Katie Mitic is Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of SomethingElse, Inc., a technology-enabled beverage platform building a portfolio of modern consumer brands, a role she has held since 2019. Ms. Mitic previously held senior leadership roles at several leading technology companies during periods of significant platform growth. At Facebook, Inc., she served as Director of Platform and Mobile Marketing, where she helped scale the company s global developer ecosystem and strategic partnerships. At Palm, Inc., she served as Senior Vice President of Product Marketing, responsible for expanding the company s product portfolio and international footprint prior to its acquisition by Hewlett-Packard. Earlier, Ms. Mitic held leadership roles at NetDynamics (acquired by Sun Microsystems), where she helped launch one of the industry s first application servers; at Four11, where she helped build RocketMail, the early web-based email service that became Yahoo! Mail; and at Yahoo!, where she served as Vice President and General Manager. Ms. Mitic currently serves on the boards of DVx Ventures and LeanIn.Org. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
