Executive Chairman of Mid-America Apartment Communities, Inc., a publicly-traded apartment REIT, since April 2025. Mr. Bolton previously served as Mid-America s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors from October 2001 and September 2002, respectively. Mr. Bolton joined Mid-America in 1994, becoming its Chief Operating Officer in February 1996 and its President in December 1996.
