Mr. Kjærvik is an accomplished financial executive who brings 40 years of experience in financial roles across the banking, energy and maritime sectors. He most recently served, from 2022 to 2024, as Interim Treasurer for GE Energy businesses (Vernova) preparing for demerger and separate listing in April 2024 from its General Electric parent. Previously, he served as Head of Treasury & Risk for A.P. Møller-Mærsk A/S from 2008 to 2021 and also held a similar role at Aker Solutions ASA from 2002 to 2008. The first half of his career was in various leadership positions at Nordea Bank Abp from 1983 to 2002. He currently sits on the board of directors and serves as chair of the audit committee of Odfjell SE (since 2024). Previous directorships include Høegh Autoliners ASA, Mærsk Supply Service A/S, Mærsk Insurance A/S, Danish Ship Finance A/S, VP Securities A/S, and Britannia PI.
