Andrew T. Kaplan has served as a director of Surgery Partners since August 2018. Mr. Kaplan joined Bain Capital Private Equity in 2009 and is a Partner. Prior to joining Bain Capital Private Equity, Mr. Kaplan was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs. He also co-founded EngagedHealth, LLC, a post-hospitalization service for chronically ill, low income patients aiming to improve outcomes, reduce readmissions, and save costs. Mr. Kaplan has served on the Board of Directors for QuVa Pharma since 2015, US Renal Care since 2019, PCI Pharma Services since 2025 and Kailera Therapeutics since 2025. He previously served as a director of InnovaCare Health from 2021 to 2025. Mr. Kaplan holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
