Mr. Tucker is also a Principal in TriCo Resources, a trailer leasing company, as well as BTI Real Estate. He has an extensive background including service as an officer in the United States Army. After his military career, he joined the national accounting firm of Arthur Andersen, and became a certified public accountant. Mr. Tucker has over 20 years of public accounting experience. Prior to his appointment to the SmartFinancial Board, Mr. Tucker was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Capstone Bancshares, Inc. and Capstone Bank, which were both acquired by SmartFinancial in 2017.
