Hong Q. Hou serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Semtech Corporation, a leading provider of high-performance semiconductors and analog solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud connectivity, and advanced sensing applications. With over three decades of experience in the semiconductor industry, Hou joined Semtech in 2006 as Vice President of Engineering for the Imaging Products Group. His prior roles included key engineering and leadership positions at Conexant Systems, Mindspeed Technologies, and AT&T Bell Labs, where he honed his expertise in wireless communications, signal processing, and mixed-signal IC design. Holding a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and both Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Tsinghua University, Hou has been instrumental in driving technological innovation throughout his career.
