Previously served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Norfolk Southern Corporation (2013 to 2017). Began her career in 1979 at Peat Marwick (a predecessor to KPMG). Joined Norfolk Southern Corporation in 1983 and served in several finance positions before becoming Vice President & Controller in 2003 and then Vice President & Treasurer in 2009. Currently serves on the board of directors for Sherwin-Williams Company, where she serves as the Chair of the Audit Committee and is a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Previously served on the board of directors of The Raytheon Company, where she was a member of the Audit Committee and of the Public Policy and Corporate Responsibility Committee from 2018 to 2020. Mrs. Stewart has more than 35 years of experience in finance and served as CFO for one of the largest railway companies in the world. In that role, Mrs. Stewart gained extensive experience in leadership and management as well as expertise in accounting systems and controls of a Fortune 500 company traded on the NYSE. The Board has determined that Mrs. Stewart is an audit committee financial expert.
