Justin Chakma, MD, MBA, serves as Chief Business Officer at ARS Pharmaceuticals Inc., a biopharmaceutical company pioneering neffy® (epinephrine nasal spray), a needle-free treatment for Type I severe allergic reactions. In this role, he leads business development, strategic partnerships, licensing, and commercialization efforts, playing a key part in advancing the company's pipeline toward global market access and ensuring innovative therapies reach patients in need. A trained emergency medicine physician, Chakma earned his MD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he later held leadership positions, including Executive Director of Stanford-Industry Initiatives at the Department of Bioengineering and Associate Director of the Translational Research and Applied Medicine Lab at Stanford Biodesign. As a Venture Partner at Khosla Ventures, he supported early-stage biotech investments and co-founded several ventures. Chakma's achievements include advising over 20 startups, securing hundreds of millions in venture funding, and fostering collaborations that have accelerated biomedical innovations from concept to clinic.
