Vikas Sinha serves as Chief Financial Officer at Scholar Rock Holding Corporation, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing, and delivering innovative biologics therapies for serious diseases, with a primary emphasis on neuromuscular disorders. In this role, which he assumed in March 2023, Sinha oversees all aspects of the company's financial operations, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, financial reporting, and investor relations. He plays a critical role in supporting Scholar Rock's pipeline advancement, particularly the Phase 3 SAPPHIRE study of apitegromab for spinal muscular atrophy and other neuromuscular programs, ensuring robust financial infrastructure to drive clinical and commercial milestones. Prior to Scholar Rock, Sinha was CFO at bluebird bio, Inc. from 2020 to 2023, where he led financial strategy amid rapid growth in gene therapy development, including equity financings, debt restructurings, and partnerships. Before bluebird, he held progressive senior finance leadership positions at Biogen Inc. for over 12 years, culminating as Vice President of Finance for the Multiple Sclerosis franchise, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, commercial analytics, and global financial operations. Earlier, Sinha began his career at Deloitte Consulting, providing financial advisory services to life sciences clients. Sinha's notable achievements include orchestrating successful capital raises exceeding $500 million across his tenure at bluebird and Biogen, optimizing cost structures during challenging market conditions, and fostering strategic collaborations that enhanced long-term shareholder value. His expertise in biotech financing, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency positions him as a key architect of Scholar Rock's path toward sustainable growth and potential commercialization.
