His strategic oversight includes managing the company's capital structure, investor relations, treasury functions, and financial planning, playing a pivotal role in Turtle Beach's expansion amid the booming gaming industry. Prior to Turtle Beach, Hanson held senior finance positions at prominent audio and communications firms. As Senior Vice President and CFO of GN Audio A/S (Jabra) from 2018 to 2021, he spearheaded financial operations for the consumer audio division of the GN Group, optimizing costs and supporting global market penetration. Before that, he was Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at Plantronics, Inc. from 2016 to 2018, where he managed treasury, tax, and risk functions during a period of significant mergers and acquisitions, including the company's combination with Polycom. Earlier in his career, Hanson spent over a decade at Polycom, Inc. in progressively senior roles, culminating as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, and began his professional journey as an auditor at Deloitte & Touche.
