Eric Lefkofsky is our Founder and has served as our Chief Executive Officer and a member of our board of directors since our inception. Before founding Tempus, Mr. Lefkofsky co-founded Groupon, Inc. in 2008, where he held various roles, including member of the board of directors (through November 2023), Chairman of the board of directors (November 2015 to June 2020), Executive Chairman (through August 2013) and Chief Executive Officer (August 2013 to November 2015). Mr. Lefkofsky also co-founded Lightbank LLC in 2008, a private venture capital firm specializing in investments in technology companies, and has served as its managing member since inception and General Partner since January 2019. Mr. Lefkofsky also co-founded InnerWorkings, Inc., Mediaocean, LLC, Echo Global Logistics, Inc., and Pathos AI, Inc., and served on each company s board of directors or board of managers. In addition, Mr. Lefkofsky has served on the board of directors of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare since February 2024.
