Mr. Sedaghat is the Chairman of Trend International Holding AG, an investment holding company with interests in real estate, public and private debt and equity, and other investments. With over 40 years of global business experience in the packaging industry, he began his career co-founding SEDA Specialty Packaging Corp. in 1984, serving as Chairman and CEO until its sale to CCL Industries Inc. in 1997. He then held leadership roles at CCL until 1999, when he transitioned into a consulting position. In 2001, Mr. Sedaghat founded PKG Group, LLC, a dispensing and packaging company, serving as CEO until 2015. He also founded Gotha Cosmetics S.R.L. in 2005, serving as CEO from 2005 to 2008, and then again from 2015 to 2017, and as Chairman of Gotha Cosmetics USA, Inc. from 2017 to 2019. Following his sale of a majority stake in Gotha, Mr. Sedaghat formed a partnership with Capvis AG (formerly Capvis Equity Partners AG) in 2016. Mr. Sedaghat has served as a director of Gotha since its inception. Mr. Sedaghat has extensive knowledge and expertise in the packaging and consumer products industries, manufacturing, process and product innovation, customer relationship management and executive leadership.
