Dr. Rachesky is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of MHR Fund Management LLC, a New York-based investment firm founded in 1996 that takes a private equity approach to investing. MHR manages approximately $5 billion of capital and has holdings in public and private companies in a variety of industries. Dr. Rachesky is non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lions Studios Corporation and Telesat Corporation.
