Vincent Della Volpe has served on our Board of Directors since July 2007 and also serves as Chairperson of our Compensation Committee and is a member of our Audit Committee and our Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. Mr. Della Volpe has served as a professional money manager for over 35 years, including as a senior portfolio manager of pension funds for Honeywell Corporation and as Senior Vice President of the YMCA Retirement fund in New York. Throughout his career, Mr. Della Volpe has particularly focused on the management of energy and utility equity portfolios, and he also has experience managing venture capital investments. Mr. Della Volpe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and an MBA in finance, both from Seton Hall University. The Board of Directors has concluded that Mr. Della Volpe should serve as a director given his involvement with the Company since 2007 and his specialized expertise in finance.
