Mr. Marc D. Miller was appointed Chief Executive Officer of UHS in January, 2021 and continues to serve as President. Prior thereto, he served in various other capacities related to UHS s acute care division since 2000. Mr. Marc D. Miller was elected to the UHS Board of Directors in May, 2006. He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of Premier, Inc. He is the son of Alan B. Miller, our Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President; and Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of UHS.
