Matthew T. Moroun, age 52, serves as Chair of our Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Compensation Committee. Mr. Moroun plays a significant role in shaping the management and operating policies of a portfolio of family-owned businesses engaged in transportation, insurance, business services, and real estate development and management. He has served as a director of PAMT CORP since 1992 and has served as its Chair since 2007, providing decades of continuity in public-company governance and leadership. Mr. Moroun brings long-standing, hands-on leadership experience overseeing complex, asset-intensive businesses with significant operating, regulatory, and capital requirements. His experience spans transportation, automotive, real estate, infrastructure, and government relations, and includes deep involvement in strategic planning, capital allocation, executive compensation, and risk oversight. Mr. Moroun s first-hand knowledge of market-leading practices and long-term industry cycles provides the Board with valuable perspective as it oversees the Company s strategy and execution. The Board believes Mr. Moroun s leadership, experience, and institutional knowledge make him uniquely qualified to serve as Chair and strongly support his election as a director.
