Professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Received B.S. degree in Chemistry from Indiana University, Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry from M.I.T., MBA from Michigan State University, and MD from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Has industrial experience in product development of in vitro diagnostics at the Ames Company division of Miles Laboratory (now Bayer).
