Travis D. Stice is a seasoned energy executive with over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specializing in upstream operations, drilling, and strategic growth. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering, Stice began his career with ConocoPhillips, where he held various engineering and operational roles. He later advanced through leadership positions at Diamondback Energy, Inc., rising to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2012 to 2014, during which he oversaw significant expansion in the Permian Basin. In July 2014, Stice was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Viper Energy Partners LP (now Viper Energy, Inc. Class A), a position he held until his transition in 2023. Under his leadership, Viper established itself as a premier owner of mineral and royalty interests, growing its asset base from initial Permian Basin holdings to over 28,000 gross royalty acres through strategic acquisitions and organic development.
