Ms. Parrillo served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Providence Mutual Fire Insurance Company from 2000 until her retirement in February 2021. She joined the property-casualty mutual insurance company in 1977 as an underwriter and has served in various positions of progressive responsibility. She was awarded the designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Insurance Counselor. She is also a past director and Chair of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and past director of the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council. Her qualifications to serve on the Board of Directors include her extensive experience in leading a successful financial service company, as well as her experience on governing boards of nonprofit and for-profit corporations.
