Mr. Carter served as EVP and CFO of BevMo! from 2009 until his retirement in 2016. He also served as CFO of the following companies: Semtek, Inc. (2008 to 2009); Charlotte Russe Holding, Inc. (1998 to 2007); and Advanced Marketing Services (1997 to 1998). From 1986 to 1997, he was employed by Price Club and its follow-on entities, serving as SVP for PriceCostco and CFO for Price Enterprises. Mr. Carter began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Carter is recognized as a NACD Certified Director and as a NACD Board Leadership Fellow. Mr. Carter is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in California, and the Board has designated Mr. Carter as a financial expert who is expected to continue to serve on our Audit Committee. He has earned Harvard s Corporate Director Certificate and Carnegie-Mellon s CERT Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight.
