Jason K. Johnson serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHS), one of the largest publicly traded hospital operators in the United States, managing over 70 hospitals and more than 1,000 outpatient facilities. Appointed to this role in February 2021, Johnson oversees all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, risk management, and investor relations. A Certified Public Accountant, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Under Johnson’s leadership, CHS has executed significant debt reduction, asset divestitures, and operational optimizations, enhancing liquidity and positioning the company for long-term growth.
