Prior to joining CHS, he served as President and CEO of TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, a 741-bed facility, where he spearheaded a major expansion project adding over 100 beds and advanced service lines, resulting in improved market share and national recognition for clinical excellence. Earlier, he held senior roles at Vanguard Health Systems and HCA Healthcare, including Regional Vice President, where he managed multi-hospital portfolios and implemented performance improvement programs that reduced costs by 15% while boosting patient satisfaction scores. Under Mark's leadership at CHS, the East Region has achieved significant milestones, including enhanced CMS star ratings, successful partnerships with local health systems, and revenue growth through service line expansions in cardiology, orthopedics, and behavioral health.
