Shawn Morris is our former Chief Executive Officer and has served as a member of our board of directors since May 2018. Prior to his role at Privia Health, Mr. Morris was a leader at Cigna-HealthSpring, a Cigna company, known previously as HealthSpring, from 2005 to 2018. Mr. Morris held various leadership roles at Cigna-HealthSpring, including the positions of President, Chief Operating Officer, President of Development & Innovation, and Executive Vice President. Mr. Morris received a bachelor s degree in Accounting from the Western Kentucky University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Mr. Morris is also a graduate of Dartmouth College s Tuck Business School 2030 Global Executive program and an inaugural Fellow of the Nashville Healthcare Council.
